avatar problems

I just joined this site today...and I've been on it alot...I want an avavtar, but I can't quite figure out how to get the pic. of my kitten on...just those silly cartoons.

On other sites, I understand how, and I can do it, but on this site, there doesnt seem to be any place to import the file onto.

If anybody can help figure it out, let me know

You won't be allowed to use a custom avatar until you've reached 700 posts or more. I know, I have a custom I'm waiting to use too.

How did you get the avatar that you have now, how did you import that?

It is available in the "Edit Avatar" section of the Control Panel, but only for Alpha Cats. There is, I believe, a sticky in New Cats which explains all this. You'll catch on soon enough, I'm sure.

...and just to clarify, that's up to 20 PMs permitted -- not 20 required. Sometimes there's some confusion about that.

Oh, and Jazmynn, your join date was 18 June, so your 30 days is up Tuesday. It may take a day or so to catch up, and then you should see the perks take effect.
