What IS it with grocery bags??

A couple of bonus, I just took these too, so might as well share them.

Ziggy is a loooooooong kitty:


This is Godiva. At the right angle, she looks almost like the pug breed of dog.

They do love those bags, don't they?

You might want to cut off those handles, though -- Cindy could tell you about how sneaky and nasty shopping bags are. They wait quietly for unsuspecting kitties, and then attach themselves, so that kitty can't get free, and when kitty runs away, they give chase. Cindy was lucky, that the bag that entrapped her didn't grab her around the neck, as some are wont to do. So, she was just very scared, but not hurt.

[I deliberately put that in a "cute" way, but it's a real caution.]

When I was a child, we came home to find one of our kitties in a plastic bag, nearly strangled... she was exhausted from struggling. Luckily, we found her in time. I guess I just thought it wasn't as much of a hazard with paper. Thanks again!

Aren't they funny!! Just like kids, you buy them the fancy toys but they really want the box or bag it came in.
I will never forget my son on his 4th birthday...took the paper off a present and jumped up and down hollering "A BOX A BOX".
The cats are the same when I bring groceries home
