How do you cook Lamb?

What herbs do you put on it?
What Veggie would you normaly have with it?
How long and at what temp. do you cook it?
Can someone guide me through?

When I do a leg of lamb roast I put rosemary and garlic with it - they are hte herbs that go best. ALso salt and pepper on the outside. It is also delicious if you smear it with honey before putting it in the oven. Put it in a roasting pan in a preheated oven at 150/gas mark 6. Leave it for fifteen minutes, then turn the heat down to 120/mark5 and roast it for 15 minutes per pound if you like it just a little pink. Fifteen minutes before the end of cooking I pour a glass of wine over it (red or white) which adds tot he juices for a good gravy. Thicken the gravy slightly and add a little more honey if you like. Roast lamb is one of my favourite things. I serve it with new potatoes and broccoli or any green vegetable.
