I have read that in the last 2 weeks, you should be able to feel the kittens move, within the last week, actually seeing them move.
While I know you can't be sure if you don't know the actual mating date, at the clinic (July 6) they said she was due in about 3 weeks and so give or take a few days, it should be in the next week or so. I do not feel any frim movements, and very little fluttering (which could actually be gas or something).
My question is if she only has 1 kitten inside, could this be why I don't feel much? I know the vet can be wrong too. The first time I questioned about whether she was PG was July 1 when I noticed she looked a bit bigger than usual and picking her up, I felt her nipples which I never had before.
So anything ELSE that I can look for?

when she is a week or so from birth, you will have no problem knowing what your feeling is babies. it will feel like lil kicks, and bumping, like though a water balloon. Her nipples will start to get jelly like and bigger. she will start eating more and sleeping alot more. 9 times out of 10 there is more then 1 kitten in there. i didnt feel Icis's kitten till about 2 weeks before birth. also the hair around the nipples will thin.

She still seems to have quite a bit of hair around her nipples. I am just thinking that maybe the vet was off because it was just a guesstimate and she would be down to -2 weeks now.

is she a small cat? smaller cats tend to have smaller litters. that is how it is with Kitty. her last litter had 2 and this litter i'm sure is only one. i feel the exact same fluttering and she is due any time now. there isnt really any pronounced kicking going on. i think there is only one with Kitty.

JESSIE, yes she is on the small side and about 1 year old. She doesn't look VERY big on the side but it is sure noticable. When you look at her body it doesn't look big but her head looks small in comparison, if that makes sense?
I will try to post some pics tomorrow.
I do notice that when I am holding her (gently of course) and my hand rests on her belly, when there ARE little flutters she tries to get away, as if they are uncomfortable.....

I think there is a good possiblity that there is a 1-2 litter and that may be the case. They may have room for bouncing
MaxSheba must be having at least 3-4 and I know we have mostly boys they are rough and tumble already. I felt them moving at around 6 1/2 weeks and it was just flutters but now you can see them flat out kicking and juymping around so either they are big babies, or a nice size litter.
Either way don't worry I'm sure she is perfectly fine

Well, she let me hold her and pet her for a few minutes this morning. I felt a movement stronger than before but I am only feeling it on one side, so I believe that she only has 1 or 2 in there.
I have so much going on next week! And watch, she will have her babies in the middle of everything!
Another thing I have read is that sometimes a few days before birth, they might leak some milk....is this common?
I know I am looking for a miracle, an OBVIOUS sign, just because all of a sudden my days seem to bee getting busy!
But feeling the stronger movement makes it all seem so real now!

Well this is her last night. She is not a big cat, but her head looks so small now compared to her body!

She is sleeping alot. She HAS been a bit playful with the other cats the past few days, though! I know when I hold her on my lap and there is movement (kittens) she will sometimes give a tiny cry. I rest my hand gently on her belly and she really doesn't like it, but she was never a 'lap cat' anyway.
I know she is uncomfortable, but this pic make make it look a little worse then it is....she is a small cat and I guess even having ONE kitten in there and being at term, is uncomfortable.
