daily cat antics

I was sitting at the computer getting a cuddle from Wiggies when he decided he'd had enough. He went and flopped down on the floor in front of Pushy and his tail landed in Pushy's face. So of course Pushkin sniffs it and tries to grab it. So Wiggs flicks it away then back again and Pushy tries to grab it again. This carried on for some time while I had a good laugh at them. It was so cute watching Wiggies tease his brother like that, just like dangling a string for him!

Monkey knew exactly what time we were suppose to wake up this morning...because right at around 4:30am she brought her little toy (which has a bell and makes a lot of noise) up on our bed and she started playing with it to wake us up!! .....and as soon as I rose up she gave me a look like "please play with me"

awww... aren't they cute???

This morning I put on my new pair of goucho's and the tag was too low and scratching my backside, so I had my husband come into the kitchen to cut it out for me. Well, LuckyGirl, who follows Daddy everywhere promptly came in. And she sat up straight 2 feet away staring intently at my hubby, turning her head side to side, with the widest eyes I've ever seen... it was clear she was pondering "what in the world is Daddy doing to Meowmy?" and by the look on her face she couldn't figure it out one bit! It was so cute watching her little brain in action!

Every morning I wake up to 5 little kitten faces staring at me and one puppy one too! always starts my day off on the right foot!

Oh that reminds me, sometime Saturday night, someone got an upset tummy and decided to puke.... right in my slipper!!!!

awwwww, the poor little trout meister. No matter which end it came out, I hope she's feeling better...

I was sitting at the computer, actually doing my homework, when I got Cheeky boogered(he is suffering from a cold b/c of the AC). Damita was in my lap getting petted at the time. When i quit petting her, she got angry & bit me in the crotch. Honestly, it did make my dad.

Oh yeah, & I got a Feliway diffuser for Ophelia & she is honestly a nice cat! I'm amazed at how different she is & how she isn't so defensive all the time!

Well, Anya has discovered that she can climb window and door screens. It's not unusual to walk into the room and see her just hanging there looking outside at something.

This morning, however I couldn't help but laugh at her and Brian. I heard him shout an ugly word form the other room and ran in to see what had happened. She's often in "cracked out kitten play mode" first thing in the morning. I've warned him about this before. He didn't see her in the rolling computer chair and when he put his hand on it to push it out of his way...BAM. She got him. When I walked in he was sucking on his finger. She's always really good about not using claws or biting hard when she plays with me, but I guess she thinks she can play rougher with her Daddy. I picked her up trying to laugh and told her we don't bite. She collapsed into my arms like a baby.

how i was trying to sleep today. She kept trying to climb up on me to sleep. when i would put her down she would just sleep right next to me, and lick my arm. then later she would try to get on me again.

then how i was getting ready a couple of hours ago for work she was chasing the spider in the bathtub. lol spider runs down the drain. and she just sits there meows down the drain( this has been going on for several weeks now) its seems to be nightly game they play,, i wonder if its the same spider or not.

theimp98 - that's so funny with the spider. Mine like to chase spiders too, but none ever survive long enough to become routine entertainment.

Stumpy always has kitty psycho hour at 5am when she wants to attack our feet and play. She now loves fetch and only plays when we're in our bedroom for some reason. So this morning I was half awake and lying on my belly with my arms by my sides, palms facing up. Next thing she's leapt on to the bed, and dropped her ball directly into my hand! I looked around at her, and she was sitting up, looking at me with her head on the side - like "go on, I'm waiting".

As well as that she likes to eat things she's not supposed to. Yesterday I was getting dressed, and put on my bra that I'd just thrown on the floor the night before, and discovered one of the straps was broken. I took it off again and had a look and realised the strap had been chewed through!!! So I went out and bought her more toys to keep her occupied... And I also need to make sure I put all clothes away!!!

I think it was because of all the flies she ate Well, she is back to normal now, and needless to say...she is not allowed to eat flies anymore

Does anyone else get paranoid about what your kitty is getting into when you take a nap? When Stoli doesn't nap with me I almost can't sleep because it seems he finds everything he's not supposed to have.

Whenever I hear licking sounds I jump up and run over to Stumpy to see what she's getting into that she shouldn't be!! The majority of the time she's just cleaning herself and gives me a "can I have some privacy please???" look

I walked into the bathroom today to clean out the litter boxes and found little bits of fur all over the place. It looks like Bit and Scratch had a disagreement about something and it ended up in the bathroom.
