Just had to share this. I came home from work one afternoon last week to find some papers I'd left on the dining room table partially shredded and scattered all over the chairs and floor. Wasn't sure who the culprit was, but didn't mind too much because the worst of the damage was done to a letter from the director of our local county shelter whom, as many of you know, local rescue/TNR groups have some issues with.

Last night, I heard some strange scratching noises coming from the dining room and went to investigate. I caught Claire in the act, standing on the dining room table shredding my notes from last week's meeting with the shelter's operation manager and vet. My fault for leaving them there and I was able to salvage them, but I got such a kick out of the fact that Claire shares her meowmy's negative opinion of the shelter!

My toilet paper can't live on the rack or it is gone in minutes. I have to keep it on the towel bar, where she can't reach it.

That is awesome that Claire doesn't like the shelter meanie either!! Yay!! You go Claire!

Zissou dislikes my textbooks. Only textbooks, though. Not regular books. What a weirdo. I think she's trying to tell me to quit going to class and spend all my time with her.

in a pile of open toed shoes!
See, now LuckyGirl would've just sat on it. Something about paper makes her wanna just put her hiney on it. God forbid you lay a magazine on the couch, she is instantly on top of it.

Well that's a way of making a statement too!

Maybe I should send the shredded letter back to the shelter director so he knows what Claire thinks!

Ok, but 1st send it to Philly, and I'll have LuckyGirl put her 2 cents on it, I mean in it, then we'll send it to them... let them know we think their ideas are poopy!

Sounds like a good plan!
Between Claire and LuckyGirl they'll know the cats mean business!

Dushka used to be my paper shredder, but she has taught the others how much fun it is and now they are all at it. I am currently sitting on a pile of shredded cardboard, most of which used to be storage boxes that were placed carefully in each room for my packing. Now I am reduced to plastic bags for much of my stuff! Maybe the cats are just telling me they don't want to move?

Cats definitely have a way of letting you know how they feel, don't they?

Twitch likes to sit her heiny of htings, too! Although, she sometimes has trouble cleaning her behind, so she'll leave "fudge smudgies" on the papers...

Lily is my paper shredder. Trt explaining to a professor why your homework is shredded & pooped on(at least she was a cat lover & understood)! Eileen, at least Claire was doing you a favor...telling you that she doesn't like that woman!
