I have 2 feral cats who are a mated pair- I thought they were both males until one brought her 3 kittens to my window well a few weeks ago

The kittens have been rescued. One is very friendly and two are completely feral but that is another story. If anyone knows how this could happen I would be interested!!

Anyhow I have a trap outside with the door tied open where I put their food, and William and Ace are very comfortable with it, but I have not had time to actually set up their spay/neuter appointments and do the trapping yet.

Here are my questions:

1. I would like to give them revolution or treat them for fleas until they go to their appointment, as well as after I return them to the outside, in future months (after revolution wears off). How the heck can this be done!

2. I'd like to get them both in one trip to the vet since it is in downtown Chicago and I will need to commit a fair amount of weekend time and/or take off work. What are the chances, if I had two traps, the second cat would go into a trap after the first one is trapped? They normally show up together in the morning and I don't want the one who is not trapped to freak out. Ideas?

Some herbal products
deter fleas. Sprinkling mint, dried pyrethrum flowers, or a nontoxic
herbal flea powder beneath the bedding may work (if you have a shelter for the cats).

Thanks for the info. Does anyone have any ideas about putting out 2 traps? Will the first one see the trap and then I will be unable to get him in a trap?

I would set out 2 traps...make sure to cover and remove the first trap immediately once you trap the first cat....hopefully this will not scare off the second cat.

Btw, as you are asking about the spot on Revolution (Stronghold in some countries). Taking all outer parasites and most worms save tapeworms.

Someone told us about another spot on, Bob Martin. Not ideally but oK she said.
I see Bob Martin (produced in UK, therefore probably possible to get also in US) is best at tapeworms!

Ie: I assume a combination of Revolution and Bob Martin should do the trick of total deparasiting, all worms and all outer parasites.
