I won't be making any sigs for a while

My computers hard drive died the other night and everything went with it. All of the pics I had saved, my website stuff...ect.
I had sigs made I didn't post yet which are now more than likely gone.

Everything has to be reinstalled and I'm not sure how long that is going to take. My nephew is doing all of that because I am computer illiterate.

Hopefully it won't be too long!

That is such a shame! I know how upset and frustrated you must be. I lost pictures of my highschool graduation on my camera way back when, and I was really bummed out about it... it wasn't like I could just replace them. I hope your computer is up & running soon. I know that they do have these file retreival or document salvage software programs that are meant to go in and save & restore files/pics/documents that were on a pc that crashed. We have an IT dept at my work, so I've heard them referr to it. Maybe you can get something like that to save your work. Good luck!

Oh no!! I hope everything is back up and running fine very soon!

Wow, I can really sympathize. My notebook "died" last week, and I hadn't done a back-up for two or three weeks (I use an external HDD for that), so I lost a fair amount of files, including siggies, cutouts (i.e., photos of kitties against transparent backgrounds), backgrounds, and fonts. I'm still copying files from the external drive to the new notebook, but I'll have to redo a lot of things.

I miss you already Diane!

www.box.net allows you 1GB of space to store docs and is an easy site to use and great for backing up important docs off your computer (you can upgrade to 5GB for $50/yr or 15GB for $99/yr)

Well, I have paintshop pro x re-installed, just need to get fonts, dings, backgrounds and grab some kitty pics and I'll be good to go!!
