Need vibes for corgi/pug mix

Hey guys, it's not often that I need to ask for vibes for a dog, but we have a sweet little corgi/pug mix in need of a foster or permament home. His owner, who also had many cats, passed away after battling cancer and we've been involved in helping to place her pets. Local cat rescue groups have really stepped up and the cats are taken care of, but we've found no one to take the little dog.

I haven't seen him, but have told been he's a golden color, more corgi looking than pug, is about 8-years-old, neutered and in good health and loves cats (no surprise there!). Next step is Petfinder and the usual means of getting the word out, but if any of you with dog connections have any ideas, please let me know. And please send vibes that we find a loving home for this sweet boy. Thanks!

oh, he sounds like such a sweetie! a senior too, my kind of dog lots of vibes that you can find him a nice retirement home!

Where are you/the dog located? I'm sure I can find a rescue to take him.

We're in Cincinnati, Ohio.

I will start looking, a photo would really help.

oh he is a cutie! wish I could take him in Eileen, but 2 dogs are enough, plus Vino doesn't like other little boys

Thanks! I would LOVE to have a dog, but just don't have the time or space to care properly care for one. Then there's the fact that the kitties would NOT be happy.

Just wanted to update and thank everyone for the vibes. Ronny now has a foster (possibly even a permanent) home with two other corgi mixes!

Just wanted to let you guys know that the TCS vibes/prayers worked again. The shelter director had a foster home lined up for Ronny, but has now decided to keep him herself! She said he's so sweet, loving and helpful (he sits next to her when she's working on the computer and puts nose prints on the screen) that she just can't give him up!

Wonderful news on Ronnie! I just read this post (I don't visit this forum often) and was sad that poor Ronnie must have been missing his original family of cats How sad to take a dog from his pack, even if they are cats and not dogs. Now, as long as he is with the shelter director, he can have as many kitties as he likes!! and the kitties will get the love and protection of a very special dog
