We only had 2 vets...so we really couldn't take more....but that is 31 cats/kittens that cannot reproduce.

That's a lot of vets. Is it always the same ones or do you have different ones in the area that take turns helping out? What is the average number of cats done in 1 day?Originally Posted by TNR1

I used to go to Petworth to get my cats sprayed and neutered. That one vet did an amazing job all by himself.
Of course you did!Originally Posted by TNR1

Thanks Laurie....it does seem like such a drop in the bucket when you think of all the need. I do hope we can combine forces because it will make a larger impact for the future. The reason we narrowed our focus was to hopefully get the county to agree to promote TNR. Then we could move to the next county and so forth.Originally Posted by LDG

Katie - I'm always impressed with the work you guys do. It's hard work and I just really wanted to thank you for being out there doing what you do. The numbers are always so mind-blowing. I wave between being excited for how great you guys did - and being depressed at how many there are.
You and people like you are a godsend.
