Well yesterday Monkey gave me this look!

Well, I had to write a paper for my college course yesterday. I was on my bed with my laptop writing and Monkey wanted EXTRA attention. She kept on getting on my lap in between the laptop and me and she was rubbing all over me. I really needed to get this paper done, so I put her out of the room and I said "I'm sorry Monkey but I need to write this paper"

She gave me the "why not" look when I sat her down outside my room, and then she even turned upside down and put her paws out towards me!!....I kinda couldn't resist and I let her back in
.....

Maybe I should do that look
to get things done with my husband

Oh all the darn time!

If Zissou wants to go out on her leash, she'll let me know and then usually I say "We can go out later, Zissou" and if I don't take her out she follows me around giving me a guilt trip. Her favorite toy is the thumbtack, which she obviously isn't allowed to have, but once in a while she'll find one (don't know where) and I take it away and she looks at me so pitifully.

They do know how to be so adorable you can't resist don't they! I am a sucker for the roll-over paws-out position, and the stand up against my legs and rub her face on me (only done for wet food!). Sometimes I'm glad she can't talk, cause I could never say no!

I got that look less than 20 minutes ago from Rosie wanting some more treats.

She's not hungry either because theres kibbles here in their bowl, but she just wants some more " sweeties" as i call them, so as well as getting the look i also get the meow that says " I want!!! "

I'll give in and give her a couple more after my bath

All the time from Luna "Why won't you play with me?" "Why can't I chew on the nail on the wall?"
The look is SO adorable.
Plus with Da Bird, if she really wants to play with it I get the look of "PLEASE???"

Then Whitey does it too...but he's more vocal and somedays I can almost make out "Mom? Mom! Mom? Mom?"

I think Ophelia is starting to master that look. Sometimes she just looks like she wants to eat me, though.
Damita is the best at that look, although she can't see me, her look is so innocent & perfectly aimed, I always give in. Chico only gives me that look after he's done something naughty. Lily & Twitch get to gether & do it at the same time, double whammies get more treats.

I get it about once a day from 8-Bit, and now Scratch is picking up on it too! 8-Bit has a series of things that he does: he will shoot the look, walk away with a tail flick, then curl up and sigh. It's rather funny.

Nedicks used to give me the look, but she's gotten more pushy over the past year. Now she gives me a look that's more, um, demanding, and when she does it, she also says, "Meep!!" in a rather indignant tone.
I consider it the kitty equivalent of "Hey!"

Lol...me too that roll over always gets me. Our cats are very smart because they know exactly how to get what they want

oh i get that look almost daily... usually when i'm out here at the computer. Wonton loves to sleep in my lap while i'm on the net, and most of the time i let him, but sometimes i just don't feel like having a cat on my lap, so when he comes up and taps on my leg with his paw, i reach down and scratch his ears and pet him, and then go back to what i was doing. but...he just sits there. after a few minutes, i know hes there, and i cant resist turning around and looking, and he's just sat by the chair, looking up at me with these HUGE eyes that say "you dont love me? you don't want to hold me?"

at which point i move back, grab the cushion and put it on my lap, and pat it, whereupon he promptly hops up on my lap and goes to sleep, with a little cheshire cat smile on his face cos he got his way once again

Phenom does this when she thinks its time for dinner (which is any time I stand near the stove) She lets out a pitiful meow looks all sadly at me and runs to her bowl. We really have spoiled rotten cats!!
