..we all scream for ICE CREAM!!!!

It's the middle of July and I am amazed there is no active ice cream thread.

Any one have a new favorite this summer?

I really haven't had much ice cream because I am dieting, but the calories don't add up if you just talk about it.

I just can't get past vanilla ice cream with peanut butter
Two of my favorites are Ben and Jerry's Peanut Butter Cup, and Chubby Hubby.

I love moose tracks (in vanilla ice cream with chocolate caramel cups) I've always wanted to try Ben & Jerry's half baked ice cream..is it any good for the people who have tried it?

it's not new, though. I love the georgia mud fudge blizzard at Dairy Queen.

now I want some ice cream..but I don't need to gain anymore weight.

I like Oreo ice cream (although there are never enough oreos in it)

Lately, I've been having "fake" ice cream... I just freeze some bananas (pealed) and then put them in the blender with some frozen raspberries or blueberries and a little bit of fruit juice (just enough for my hand blender to work). It's very yummy
(and VERY healthy too... nothing but fruits!). It has pretty much the same texture as soft-serve ice cream (it would probably be firmer if I had a real blender and could do it without the juice)

I'll have to try to see if I can make some fake chocolate ice cream. (frozen bananas, cocoa, sugar and a little bit of milk)... I'll let you know how that turns out.

That sounds GOOD I am going to try that. When we were kids we used to rub lemon juice on a peeled banana and freeze it, it tastes great, also chocolate graham crackers with cool whip in b/t and freeze.

I love chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. Ben and Jerry's makes a kind that's has cookie dough AND brownie chunks in it but I can't remember the name right now...

Since moving to Cali I've discivered gelato, which is like ice cream but denser. I think I prefer it now. I'll buy a bowl of half chocolate-hazelnut and half pistachio...

I haven't had the desire for ice cream so much since my accident, but did buy a Hershey's Sundae Pie last week (I had a $1 off coupon). Ate the last two pieces for supper one night...

Movin' on up!
EXTREME Moose Tracks: chocolate ice cream, with lashings of fudge and little chocolate cups.

Godiva Belgian Dark Chocolate is SO good, that I have to smoke a cigarette and go to sleep, after eating it.

I am the epitome of boring when it comes to ice cream. Strawberry, Vanilla Bean, or Mint Chocolate Chip. Thats about as daring as I get

My absolute favorite is Graeter's (a local place) chocolate chip. It has big, rich chunks of chocolate and is so creamy - yum!

I could go for peach ice cream right now too - perfect for a hot summer afternoon.

Loving my beautiful baby girl
I had the most luscious all fruit fresh peach sorbet. It reminded me of the homemade ice cream we would make when I was little in the old fashioned ice cream machine. Summer on a spoon, delicious!

Recently I've had a craving for milkshakes. I went to the local ice cream (Stucci's) here and got a Cookie Dough Milkshake. All the vanilla goodness and cookie dough to munch on!

Otherwise I'm a Godiva Dark Chocolate w/ Raspberries fan, Chocolate ice cream, Moose Tracks, Mint Chocolate Chip. actually I
it all!

We have an ice cream place here called Brewsters that we have been visiting quite frequently this summer. My favorite order is cake batter ice cream in a waffle cone.

I also very much enjoy a mango gelati.
