Sad anniversary on Monday

On Monday, my kitten would have turned one. This was not the exact day of his birth, which I had estimated as him and his mom were found by a good samaritan and brought to a shelter. He was put to sleep following a terrible injury to his leg, which got caught up in the leg of a table. A very stupid accident I could not foresee. Amputation was the only solution, but even his hip would have had to be amputated. That was last October 20. At least, I still have his mom with me. Both of them were fostered cats but after what happened, I could not let his mom leave me as I got so attached to her.

Bless his little heart . But he's over the bridge now running around happily because he's whole again
