Cat had a tick need help

I just removed a tick off my cat and put it in alcohol like the instructions i found online said to. Anyways just wondering if theres anything else i need to do. The cats like a little over a pound.

I'm giving this cat away to the pound because my mom doesn't want it.

If you read my other posts you'd know my brother got the orphaned cat 3 weeks ago and now is not around to care for it and never did care for it even when he was around.

I am sorry that your Mom doesn't want to keep the kitty.

See if you can contact a rescue like the SPCA to take him instead of the pound. They will make sure he gets a home where people will love him and take care of him.

Please find a no-kill shelter. A kitten will probably be adopted quickly, but a pound during kitten season may not have room and could euthanize him.

If you said where you are, we could help you find one.

As for the tick, just keep it and turn it when you bring the kitten in. They'll know what to do.
