Im in France and Im missing my cats like crazy.

My mom says they are doing well and that they are being very affectionate and playful with her and the vet tech who visits them twice a day. Still, if I could change my plane ticket I think I would. I cant wait to see them again. Im coming home the 25th.

Aww, Colleen, I can understand that, being in that position every year, but don't let it spoil your trip. You know they're in good hands, and will be thrilled to see you upon your return. Meanwhile, talk to and pet every "chat" you can!

excellent advice, Jcat! ]
Colleen, i go thru that whenever i'm away on vacation. last trip, JC broke the pet-door cover & let the troops out
i was in the airport, talking on my cell phone in "meowmmy voice" leaving a message on the answering machine (i keep it on 'screen caller' mode) calling" Joey, JC, time to come in....minou, minou, minou...come inside, babies, come inside....etc.
Fortunately it worked, and my mom took JC & Joey to her house and kept the other 3 locked up in my room....One of the reasons I stayed home when my husband went to michigan for 2 weeks.

Loving my beautiful baby girl
This must be so rough, Colleen.
Although you're having the great experience to spend time in France, you must miss Molly and Penelope with every fiber of your being. Just think of how fantastic it's going to be the moment you get home and walk in the door and finally feel your babies in your arms! Sheer joy! They'll be so thrilled to see their Mommy, too!

Stephanie, you are so right. It is going to be sheer bliss when I can hug them once again.

If I'm away for a few days I usually get the cold shoulder from the cats for a few hours after I get back. Then we're pals again. I miss my cats halfway through the day at work!

Awwwwwww Colleen, that is tough being away from them. It's not like we can talk to them on the phone or anything...............hang in there, and the 25th will be here before you know it.........
