Follow The Leader?!?!?

My 2 cats wait outside the door for me to get home and follow me from room to room whenever I am there. They can be fast asleep in the living room with me, but if I go upstairs, even for a minute, they're lounging in the hallway up there.

Is it normal for cats to follow you like that? Not that I'm complaining.

My Loki does that too - I can be watching TV in the den - he is in there with me. Within minutes of me leaving the Den - there he is .

Abby does that to me. She's my shadow and has to have me in her sight.

Chynna will do it too if it's late and night and I've gone in the direction of the bedroom. Then she'll come running thinking it's bedtime and snuggle time.

My cats do that a lot too, mostly my baby Pepper does it though. He such a mama's boy!

My cats do this when we are outside. If I walk to the back of the yard to check out my plants or go to the shed Igor, Moochie, Charmin and Jasper will all follow me if they are outside. Of course both dogs come along for the walk as well. It must look like a small zoo..LOL And they follow me back to the deck. The neighbors proably think I have special powers

Sebastian does the same thing...he could be in a sound sleep and if I leave the room 2 seconds later he is right behind me...it is to funny

Especially if I go into the kitchen....he thinks he can get food!!
