She's a bit over 6 pounds, between 9-11 months old, and an indoors only cat. She's very active, and loves to play.

On recommendation through the lovely TCS people, I bought some wet food yesterday to give her as well as dry food.

So yesterday I gave her half a pouch of Nutro Natural Choice Adult wet food (a pouch is 3 oz/85g) for "lunch", and a bit less than 1/3 cup of Iams Original dry food in the evening.

On the Iams food, it says to give a 4 lb cat 1/4 cup dry food each day, and for an 8 lb cat, 1/3 -1/2 cup of dry food each day. On the wet food it says 2 pouches per 5 lb body weight each day.

So now I'm feeding a mixture, do you think 1/2 a pouch and somewhere between 1/4 cup and 1/3 cup is ok? Should I giver her a bit more wet and a bit less dry maybe?

She's fairly skinny - the vet (4 weeks ago when she had her check up) said she's a good weight, maybe a little on the skinny side, but would prefer that due to her car accident, to reduce her chances of arthritis when she gets older. She feels a little less bony now, but I think is probably at an ideal weight, so I don't want her putting on any weight.

Edit: Oh and she's a good eater, and eats whatever I put in front of her, and she licks the bowl clean, but never comes bugging me for more food.

I think it might be better to give her a whole pouch, and then half a day's ration of dry food. That way, you know she's getting moisture and meat protein, and don't have to worry about the remaining 1/2 pouch becoming too dried out.

Yes, I might do that - half a pouch doesn't seem to be much....

I agree with the whole pouch and cut the dry down...
