So once you have chosen your photos (and try to supply more than one of each cat in case some work betters than others with the other pics), you need to host them somwhere so you can link to them. Most people use www.photobucket.com but there are lots of other ones.

Then post them in this thread. We need the URL link to the photos, not the IMG tags, so in photobucket (or whatever you use) just cut and paste this line of text or right click on your uploaded photo and click properties and cut and paste from there.

(Boomer was upset that Scully was getting all the photo action today and wanted to help)

Then post them in here with the names and any special requests etc so your post will look like this:

Special Requests (such as you need the sig to be 134 px high so you can keep the line of text you have, or you would like a rainbow bridge theme for one of the kitties etc)

I don't know why I haven't done this before. Some of you guys already made me some fabulous signatures, but I haven't ever done "formal" request.

I would love winter/Christmas siggies, and year round siggies. Whatever you want to do. Gosh, you guys are so talented! I don't like pastels, but other than that I'm open to whatever you come up with! (Oh, and beforewarned...I'm totally lazy/forgetful when it comes to switching out my siggy. It isn't a reflection on any of your talents!)

I do want a line of text below, so the 134x550 works perfectly.

So, here are pics. They are all 800x600 because that was the max I had setup on Photobucket. Let me know if you need them bigger and I'll redo my settings and reupload them.

I was thinking about having siggies featuring birthstones that I could use each month. For example I already have one with Amethyst(February) and one with Diamond(April). (And one with lots of gems!!!)

I love my Wilbur siggy so much, but baby Milo saw it and is starting to feel left out.

While we are on the subject of copyright laws, a quick reminder to the siggy makers to look when they download brushes / tubes (and even fonts) as some of them prohibit 'public' works etc also without the permission of the brush designer even if you are not getting paid for the work

As far as copyright images go, I have permission to use some from a previous project I worked on and to be honest the laws surrounding where they can be used and in what way are really confusing. For example, in churchi4cubs' case, Clemson may have given YOU permission to use the graphic, but they have not given the signature designer permission and also will not usually give permission for it to be used 'in any way you want' so even if you hold permission rights, you could break those rights by using it in a certain manner or changing it in some way to make the sig.

I hope that makes sense!

Keith, thank you for working with us on this and understanding our concerns. I have been burned before with forum related legal issues, where common sense told us one thing and the lawyers told us a different thing (in court btw, not fun and very costly).

I would prefer to keep it on the safe side and to have everyone avoid using any copyrighted logos on signature files. If someone were to absolutely insist, I would have to get a formal consultation with a lawyer who specializes in copyright issues first. Any volunteers to pay the fees?

Ok, so I haven't gotten any good new pics with the new camera. It's a little slower than I'd like and Wickett espically never holds still. Anyway, I'd love to have some holiday/winter siggies w/ my kits. Particularly winter ones as I can use them longer than a holiday one.

Ok, Since my wedding is getting so close I think I'd like some new siggies.

Hi! I have tried to make a banner, but I'll be honest: I stink.
If anyone has sometime on their hands, I'd love a cute banner of my two darlings: Penelope and Maverick. Maverick is the black siamese, Penelope is the grey and white elder!

Hi,

I tried to make a makeshift siggie by adding names to avatars, but alas, it is too big,

and I went into paint to make it smaller, but once it goes to photobucket it gets big again?

I think photobucket is avatar size or bigger. anyway, if anyone so desires, I would love

to have a siggie. I am partial to Arial, comic sans and verdana font, and subtle, maybe greenish/earthy, backround, but let your creative juices flow! On the opposite end of the spectrum, I love Victorian, floral, and pastelly. In other words, it doesn't matter. Thanks in advance.
