What are your favorite bonding moments with your cats?

I wanted to make this a poll, but I don't know how. It said I could give poll options, but I wasn't sure where I was supposed to type the 'answers'....whatever - - here's my poll question.

What are your favorite bonding moments with your cats?

Since I'm asking - I'll tell you mine! I like singing to my cat, (even though I sing off key!) Her favorite song is Frosty the Snowman - LOL! She lies on her back with her eyes halfway closed and halfway giving 'lovey dovey' eyes - her pupils dilate in and out, it's funny...

same goes for my dogs!

I voted for everything except grooming - sometimes I like it, sometimes it's something that has to be done - for me and for them.

Molly and Bobby's favourite song (so far) is The Impossible Dream from the Man of La Mancha. I haven't figured out Slayer or Sláine's favourite yet.

my kitties cover their ears and run away when i sing.. soo that was the only one i didnt tick!

I voted for everything Although there are special little things that my kitties do that just make me melt. Sleeves will look at me when Im sitting on the sofa and all of a sudden rush up to me, walk up my chest and head butt me then run away.
Nismo watches me while I do the dishes in the evening, she sits on the kitchen window ledge and stares at me, then when I rinse the cloth to wipe down the counters she stands up and her little head moves from side to side in amazement as I wipe. It's absolutely priceless. She also gives me this look and kind of squints her eyes and sticks her head out, so I walk over to her and kiss her head and as bend down to her she shows me the top of her head as if to say 'here you are kiss me kiss me!'

My favorite is when one of the cats is on my lap and I'm petting him and he's purring!

Every day, when I come home, I meow at Scotty and Oscar through my window. As soon as I walk in the door, they're waiting for me. Scotty rolls over (or runs to the food dish, whichever he wants more) and I give him a belly rub. I pick up Oscar and we nuzzle (my all time favorite thing in the world).

Although now I have to be careful neither of them dart out of the door.

I love when we go to sleep at night!! Because Monkey will lay in between me and my husband...she is soo cute too b/c if I wake up in the middle of the night she will jump thinking that something is wrong...and she follows me to the bathroom and waits for me to get out...then she jumps back on the bed and goes to sleep with us again.

Mine are petting, sleeping, and talking. Playing could be one, too. Lucy and I bond the most at night, when I'm in bed reading, and she's laying on my lap bathing/talking. I play with Sassy and pet her, so that's our time together. I usually play with Stinky and pet him a lot, so that's our time together.

I like that Zissou always always sleeps on the bathmat while I'm showering. No matter what she was doing before. And I like that she waits for me to come home, either staring out the window or sleeping by the shoes by the door. She likes when I brush her teeth (yea, she's a weirdo), she likes helping me type things, and she likes "helping" in the kitchen.

For me, it's my boys waking me up in the morning. They always seem to try to wake me 1/2 hour before the alarm goes off...By head-butting, nudging me, nibbling my hands, licking my face and eyes, purring up a storm and sitting and cuddling as close as they possible can to me. It's so funny, because the more I try to ignore it, the more persistant they are, lol! But I can't resist 2 cooing and purring lovebugs waking me up early. So for the 1/2 hour before my alarm clock goes off, is spent loving my guys as much as possible! Then once the alarm goes off, they race me downstairs because it's time for coffee(for me) and treats for them!

I picked all of them I love all the times we have together because she isn't very cuddly and when she is, its the BEST!

I love snuggle time Sleeping and patting her. She curls up in a ball, and I rub her belly and she rolls onto her back and purrrrrrrs.

She's just discovered sleeping under the blankets can be nice, so now if it's a cool evening she snuggles under the blankets with me against my belly and purrs, and it's just so nice and cozy

I LOVE playing with my cats and petting them. Whitey gets this awesome purr going...he just loves being touched. Luna totally leans into you when you pet her too.

Then I love how cute they both are when they play. Often times they'll make me laugh.

It depends on the cat...Tailer and Harvey hate to be brushed, so that's definitely not a good time with them, but Forest loves it and I love that time with him. Snuggling is a great time with Tailer but Forest hates it and Harvey doesn't often go for it. The best time with Harvey is when he comes and naps on my lap, but Tailer won't do that with me very often (he prefers DH's lap) and Forest won't stand for that at all.

when i get in bed to go to sleep, becuse as soon as Wonton sees me lay down, he jumps up on the bed and comes over and curls up next to my stomach and goes to sleep.. 9 times out of ten, when i lay down to go to sleep, he comees to sleep with me, and its just such a cosy, comforting feeling, falling asleep with a purring furball snuggled up to you

also, when i come home, he's so happy to see me, he gets up on his hind legs and asks to be picked up. i pick him up, and he twists his body so that his feet are on my left shoulder, and rubs his face against mine and purrs as if to say "i missed you!".

he also follows me into the bathroom at night as well (like someone else mentioned) and sits quietly waiting til i'm done, then follows me back to bed.
