I know that the momma cat weans the babies, but when do I start offering wet kitten food? I tried today and they just turned their noses up at it. I give Cloe soft cat food everyday, but it is adult food not kitten.

You might try switching Cloe over to kitten food in both canned and dry varieties for now. How old are the babies? Mine at 5 weeks old today are only beginning to explore the food dishes and only one has been brave enough to take a little sample. Be patient -- it will come.

The babies are 5 weeks old today. I switched her over to sceince diet wet kitten food yesturday. She is also on sceince diet dry kitten food. Should I mix KMR with it? I did yesturday and today. Cloe seemed to not really like it like that. I will try it plan tomorrow.

Is Cloe eating in the same room as the kittens. What worked for me was to have mom and kittens in one room with the litter boxes and food....kittens will eventually get curious about what mom is eating.

Yes they are all in the same room. The only time that they are in their box now is at night. They are in my sons room so during the day they have run of the room.

I kept my fosters in my bathroom....I do think there is something about a smaller room that encourages the use of a litterbox and food...I fed my mom Sophisticats cans twice a day. The kittens actually enjoyed the moist food. Just give it time....especially since these kittens aren't going to a new home for a while.
