So here I am. Stuck with not wanting to clean..but having to clean. The house is a wreck!
I keep doing things to stop myself from cleaning..making excuses.
But for real, I am tired..I'll never see my Zoe again..I worked hard today..and cleaning doesnt seem like an option at this point.

How do i get motivated to do such a thing?!
bleh..Sleep sounds good right now..

I have no idea
That's what I do part time I have 4 clients and that's all I want. I used to do 2 homes a day now I work 2 or 3 days a week
It's very good money but I don't even want to do my own ( talk about needing it) Kinda like the shoemakers family. I really don't have to work but I have had the same clients for 3 or 4 years and I can't go make the kind of money I do somewhere else... If you figure out the motavtion part let me know
When your doing it for someone else you just want to geter done and get out

There's no place like home
Clean a room then reward yourself with something fun like ice cream!!!

But I know the feeling - sometimes you just can't get up to do things. Speaking of cleaning....I gotta go scoop some litter!! Then I might have some ice cream!!

Hang in there!

I know how you feel. Every day I write a list of things to do when I get home from work thinking that if I do a little every night the weekends won't be so bad. And then I get online on The Cat Site and play with my kitty and nothing gets done. Except for clothes for work and a clean box for the cat, with her bowls full of fresh water and food and her toys around, the rest of the place can stay messy. Lovvies for Astrid come first!

Seriously, since I live alone the only reason I really clean well now is so the cat is healthy and safe. I have very few guests I go all out for. So, getting a cat has made me tidier and more likely to keep things clean and out of her way.

I think naps are very important too. Ask any cat.
I know that for me a choice between cleaning and sleeping means I am going to sleep!

I don't even really clean anymore. I have decided from the very beginning that cleaning and grad school don't work together.

lol! You guys crack me up.

Well I remembered that I had some emergency Caffine pills for when I got super tired.
SO I used 'em.
I now have emptied 2 litter boxes, organized (not washed
) the dishes, picked up a GAZILLION toys, vacuumed 2 rooms, washed a counter, and a table, and picked up all Brandons clothes and put them in the laundry basket! ( I dont think he knows where that is.
)
So I feel a bit better about it now. Some stuff is done. Enough so that i dont have to worry about it now.
Tomarrow I have ALL DAY (HOLY CRAP!) off. So I think I'll get to the bedrooms, and the bathroom tomarrow.
For now..I'm good.

At least you did something!

I put clothes away in the bedroom that my closet threw up this morning as I was frantically trying to find something to wear - and I loaded the dishwasher, washed off the counters, cleaned up the bathroom and fed the kitties!

At least I got something accomplished!

At least we both did SOMETHING today. I didnt even come close to touching the bathroom. That's a big job. lol.

First, that Harley and Davidson pic is just too cute...how you manage to get anything done is amazing coz I would be playing with those guys all the time...

I love my apartment but it is in an old building with old electrical and I cannot run the air conditioner and the vacuum at the same time, or the washer/dryer and vacuum and/or air conditioner at the same time without blowing a circuit breaker. So, in this heat it tends to be the air conditioner. I only do laundry really early in the morning and vacuuming, well, ok, not so much...

OK well so you guys rock. I'm so glad I give up cleaning my house for TCS.

I seriously wish sometimes we all lived together. lol. It'd be great. Have you all seen starting over?

Let's put all of us in that house, with our kitties, and Have some fun!
Anyways, so yes. After I cleaned, MIL called, and was having a pool party, so I went over there. Just got home. Had a blast. AND I came home to a decently clean house. Thank god for caffine pills or I wouldnt have done anything but sleep today.

And Kenz...Dude...I have to Hijack my own thread here..But you have the best siggy in the world. Always. You always have the cutest one.

You rock. That's why.

She does have the cutest siggy right now. Her boys look so "tough". It was cute enough for me o pull hubby Brian over and make him look at it.

As for cleaning, mine is only decent last night because Brian called me at work yesterday and told me a coworker was coming over that night. I had to speed clean!

I only got to the dishes tonight (I closed off the kitchen last night) because when I walked in from work today there was a weird kitchen sink smell... Anya met me at the door with a look on her face that said, "Mommy...the kitchen SMELLS funny...."

Well, hey. You know where there is morning sickness, there is pregnancy.

And when it comes to closets, I hear they have GREAT BIG LITTERS when they give birth.

So don't be TOO quick to damn the morning sickness, you might wake up in a few months to a hundred new pairs of shoes and new leathers for the bike!

Maybe even a little black dress too.

My poor hubby is a neat freak, but I'm laid-back and kind of sloppy - although better than I used to be, I used to let my apartment get plain gross. The house never gets more than a little cluttered these days.

It's 4:30 AM and I want to go to bed, but I need to scoop the litterbox!

I do as little cleaning as possible - I've taken the maxim "dull women have immaculate houses" (my sister had a poster up in her house with that on) to heart. If I really need to do some and can't get motivated I set a timer for 30 minutes then see what I can get done in that time. The cats prefer it messy as there's more stuff for them to climb on/over and play with
