I have a new found respect for anyone who suffered during the time of Auschwitz, I had no idea untill I saw a piece on Oprah's show just a bit back, I was floored, and overwhelmed at the what those poor people had to have gone through, untill you see it it's just hard to imagne. I am reading Night by Elie Wiesel I don't really know how long the books have been out. This is the most terrible thing I think that anyone could have gone through, I was floored. there are several books and I do intend to read them all. Just a Heart braking story. You hear about it in bits and pieces but what I saw on her show made me realize how horrible it had to have been, you can't help but cry when you read it...

According to my husband... the zoo
About 10-15 years ago I was really into reading books from Holocaust survivors. It really helped me to have a deeper appreciation for everything I had.

I mostly like to read non-ficiton, memoirs, etc.

Last book I read was Marely & Me and I loved it.

I used to read books that are over 1000 pages.

Nowadays I am doing too much thinking in grad school. I am taking it easy. I am only reading advertisements for beauty products and hope one day when I get my Ph. D. I can use the credential to make antiaging creams.

I saw that Oprah too, and ever since I did I have wanted to read that book Night.

Usually I read thriller type books, but now that I'll be living on my own, I think I will start reading more than just fiction..so I'm not scared all the time

I finished Marley & Me a couple months ago, and my mom just finished Night and is letting me borrow it. Right now it's summer so I'm reading "chick lit", for example today I just finished Baby Proof by Emily Giffin.

Well there's a few one is Night, one is Dawn. and one is Day, I cried when I saw that show, and a I cried with the book, I don't think sometimes we really put much stock into what we hear, and it's a shame because that was alot of years ago... There not expensive like at Barnes and Nobel abuot $8.00..and Yay my grandsond just got a job there he gets 30% off
I don't like fiction or Romance I like things that are true, I like auto biographys also. It's a very good book, he was there he has also won the Nobel Peace Prize, there are other ones also, The forgotten, souls on fire there's bunches. Hope you get it and read it.

I love to read. Lately I've mostly been reading manga, but there are other things I love reading, too. Sometimes I do feel like I read too much though..

I read all different stuff. I like horror, biographies, sometimes mysteries. Basically anything that strikes my interest at the moment and looks interesting to me.

I've been reading "chick lit" lately, too. The "Shopaholic" series. I will have to look into "Night" however. I loved reading "Number the Stars" and "The Diary of Anne Frank." I was fortunate enough (allthough not sure that is really the right word) to see Anne Frank's hide-out in Amsterdam (they still have her movie-star pics on the walls, covered with preserving material) and visit Dachau (the concentration camp) when I was younger. Being there really helps to make one appreciate what these people went through.
