Where did she come from?
I have nieces and nephews that are toddlers, why have I never heard of her before?

What the heck is she doing under the shade tree?
Why, on the commercials, is she singing about a cow on Susie's head if the song is called Pig On Her Head?

Most importantly, if Susie does have a cow on her head, shouldn't she be dead?

These are the kinds of things that go through my head.

in a pile of open toed shoes!
I never heard of her before.... she looks a bit odd though, I googled her name...my kid wouldn't even watch Barney when she was younger...she wasn't into tv. And when it came time for preschool we realized how important Barney really is...he teaches kids the things you don't think to (all the other preschoolers knew the months, mine knew all the songs by the Commodores!)

That is so funny you should mention this! My 2 y/o watches cartoons and what not during the day and they always have a commercial for her cd. And I always wondered why she sings that cow on her head, when the song is called pig on her head?? LOL!! I know my daughter loves to sing to her songs when they do come on, so I dont say much...lol.

It's a child's television channel that shows age appropriate tv shows....and there are no commercials, during the breaks they have songs that play. Laurie Berkner is one of the musicians that does some of the songs.

Laurie's a wierd one herself. That commercial is on way more than it should be IMO.

Teletubbies scared my daughter.

No Noggin plays Blues Clues, Dora, Franklin, Jack's Big Music Show, Lazytown, The Wonder Pets, and shows like that (is it bad that I can list that many??)

You forgot Maisy, the new one Pinky Dinky Doo, Oswald, Max and Ruby, etc.

My daughter loves the Laurie Berkner songs. She can sing "I'm Not Perfect" perfectly. She also likes "Boots." I actually like all of the musicians, but can't stand Milkshake. that woman is too old to be wearing tight tops and tutus.

We just have basic cable, and dont get noggin.
But when I lived with my mom for a little bit, I had that channel on 24/7. Those shows are like temporary baby-sitters.
Dora and Blues Clues especially. The wonderpets one gets stuck in my head too much, but it's on ALL THE TIME! They sing that darn song like 3 times in a half-hour.
Dont forget about Caillou! *sp?* You know..the one with Rosie? I personally think Caillou is a bit too whiney for his age.

My daughters absolute fav. is Dragon Tales! She loves loves that show. She even knows what time it's on.

Laurie Berkner is AWSOME.

I am a music educator, well, was until I got layed off yesterday, But never mind that....

I have been watching, and teaching kids music, in some capacity for over 15 years. When I was a nanny, the Mother bought lauries CD at some department store, it was part of a promotion in the kids shoe department.

We listend to it for 3.5 years that I was with them. Her music is sooo funny and fresh and child like. Very imaginitve.

I really miss listening to that CD. Bummblebee's and Googleheads was the name I believe.

I highly recommend Laurie to any mom's out there.

Oh I liked what I heard, very much like stuff that I would have listened to as a kid myself.

I'd just never heard of her before, then suddenly, about 3 weeks ago, I start seeing these commercials.
The tunes are very catchy, just the thing for most music loving kids.

I was sort of channel surfing one day and ran across an episode of Lazytown. The hero gymnast guy and the little pink cheerleader are pretty cool,....but the animatronic kids are kind of creepy

I always research the shows my daughter watches. In researching Lazytown, I found out that Magnus Scheiving (the guy who plays Sportacus --the hero gymnast guy) is 43 years old! I was stunned because he's so, um, fit. He's also not a gymnast, but a multiple time world aerobic champion. Just a little crazy information!
