I know that moving kittens is a bad idea. However, the lease is up where I live and I have to go so I do not have a choice.

Any ideas to keep the stress level down?

Thank you

that is tough. only thing i can think of is if you have a dog crate you can use that they mom can get used to in the old home, then bring everything that smells like your old home and don't wash it for a bit. put her in a room with the door shut and in the crate shut with a blanket etc that smells like the old house. but the crate would be familiar so that would help.

Exactly how old are the kittens?? If I read properly..your female was pregnant by your male back in January of this year...has she had another litter since then?? I'm just trying to understand your request for information regarding moving kittens.

OOPS wasn't the OP I thought it was. I thought someone asked a couple weeks ago about how they had to move and their cat was due any day. So figured it was the same OP. Guess I should have read her old posts...........

Sounds like the kittens would be around 4 mo. old since she said her cats mated around Dec. 14th........
