So we won't hijack ButterflyDream's spotlight thread with Buffy talk (althought since she's a fan too I'm sure she doesn't mind TOO much), and so that the few of us can have some fun, I thought we could start a Buffy thread.

Answer what you wish and add questions/discussions you wish!

What are your top 5 (in no particular order) favorite Buffy episodes?

Killed By Death: Where Buffy is in the hospital and the Kindestod is killing kids.
Hush: The silent Buffy episode with the very creepy "Gentlemen".
Once More With Feeling: The musical episode.
Tabula Rasa: The one where everyone wakes up with amnesia of sorts.
Same Time, Same Place: Willow comes back, but she's invisible, and there's a flesh eating demon on the loose.

Who's your favorite and least favorite Buffy character?
Favorite: Tie between Willow, Anya, and Xander.
Least favorite: 1st time through series it was Faith. Second time it was Angel. He's just so whiney...

Who's your favorite villain / big bad?
Glori / Glorificus, all the way.

Favorite couple?
Xander and Anya.

Buffy and Angel or Buffy and Spike?
Buffy and Spike.

Wow, I will need to think about it and answer later. It's been a while since I've gone through the entire series. It's kind of hard to spend all day watching the DVDs when you don't work in a call center anymore.

I don't know the names but I will explain them:


1. The one where spike makes a buffy robot!

2. The Musical one

3. The Wish: When anya first shows up

4. The halloween episode where they are turned into their costumes

Favorite episodes:

I don't know the episode names, and I'm too lazy to pull out the DVD's to find the names.

1-My favourite episode is the Musical show from season 6. I just love that one.

2-I love the episode, where Buffy and Spike make wild passionate love for the first time.

3-The episode where they bring Buffy back from the dead.

4-The episode with the Buffy Bot.

5-The episode where Willow goes really dark and turns to the black arts, and brings Dawn along with her, and almost gets her killed.

My husband bougth me the "Chosen Collection", that has all 7 seasons in one st as a gift. Reading over these is making me want to go home and rewatch a few episodes again.

For you Spike fans, my all-time favorite Spike moment is in the Something Blue episode. He's in Giles' tub drinking blood out of his "Kiss the Librarian" mug:

Spike: Passions is on! Timmy's down the bloody well, and if you make me miss it I'll...

Makes me laugh every time.

Just the thought of Spike getting so into a soap opera.

I also love the 3 dorks ...I forgot their names but they were so funny. Buffy was such a classic show....I sure do miss it, I will have to get the box set and watch the episodes again

Well, I'm a Kiss fan, and have been since I was a kid, so I've long accepted geekiness.

Buffy is the kind of show that grows on you. I am now into Angel, as well as Buffy.

Sadly I started buying the DVD seasons individually. Now that they have all 7 Seasons in 1 package, I wish I would have waited. I know it's cheaper that way.

You could always take all your old seasons up to Amoeba Music at Sunset and Ivar and trade them in for the new set (if they have it in stock). I would think that the old ones would give you enough credit to get the new one and maybe a couple of other DVDs or CDs. I bet they have a ton of KISS stuff.

Dead Man's Party - I wish she would have told everyone to shove it up their.....

Band Candy
Fear, Itself - The ending was priceless. "Who's a little fear demon? Come on, who's a little fear demon." "Xander, don't taunt the fear demon." "Why? Can he hurt me?" "No, it's just...tacky."
The Gift
Once More, With Feeling - I loved the music, especially the song the demon sang.

Least favorite: Cordelia!! Uggggh, she drove me insane.

Who's your favorite villain / big bad?
Even though he was an agent of the first, I really thought the character of Caleb was superbly done.

Favorite couple?
Willow and Oz

Buffy and Angel or Buffy and Spike?
Buffy and Angel. And that is mostly because of what they had to endure and the fact that she had to kill him (I cry everytime I watch that episode!)

Wow, everyone makes fun of me and my friends for liking BTVS!

Off the top of my head i love the episodes-
Once more with feeling
The one with Spike's every night i save you speech
The one with Buffy in the mental institution
The memory loss episode for Randy Giles

I adored the character of spike, real sucker for the bad boy scarred eyebrow thing

I hated angel, he always seemed so pathetic, although i like him in angel itself.
*minor hijack* I Loved the cordelia/ doyle coupling in angel series one. I almost cried when he died and when i found out he was dead in real life too. He just had the best character.

Best couple i think is willow and oz for geeky cuteness.

Buffy and Spike all the way, but if she doesn't want him then i'm willing to shoulder the burden...

I used to be a die hard Buffy fan and then my family didn't have cable anymore so I missed a whole bunch....I need to go buy the seasons.

Oh gosh, I love having all 7 Seasons on DVD. I have to add, that with Tabula Rosa, when they all lost their memories, Anya was still afraid of bunnies, yet in the episode where they showed her as Anye with the big Olof, she was surrounded by bunnies and was loving on them. Struck me as strange.

I love Xander's Yellow crayon speech.
I love Xander's She saved the world speech to the Potentials....

Actually, Xander is awesome!
