tilly is still not eating:(

she had her kittens sunday night as is just not eating that much a few licks of milk that is it do they have some reserves after giving birth?thatnks for your help

I had this problem with Boo for about 6 days after she had her kittens she was really off her food. I couldnt tempt her with anything other than kitty milk.

Gradually her appetite increased again and she is now back to normal and has started to look like she is gaining a little of her weight back now.

I understand how you feel. I was really worried about Boo but she did start eating again eventually.

Im sure someone with more experience will be along soon to help.

im sure she will start eating soon. as it is normal and congratulations on the new kittens im sure tilly is a very proud mother . she may not be eating because she still feels sore after giving birth so just give her some tym and i am sure it will be ok

you could also try giving her some Nutri-Cal for cats ( avail at any pet store, like $5) i give it to Icis when she gets picky about food, she loves it. It helps with calories and energy, and is a safe supplement for cats off there food.
