real quick...
my kids are 17 < senior this year > and 13 < 8th grade this year > Hubby has more then once mentioned another baby in the last few months....

Dont know where this came from, he hasnt mentioned another baby for 13 years....

So my question is... would you, or have you had more kids when yours are this old?

Not a chance. I've got a 3 year old and a 16 month old and I am thrilled how close they are in age. Maybe consider adoption???

If I ever have another child, my son will be around 10 or 11 years old.

My friend's mom had a baby 2 years ago and her other children were 18 and 16 years old and my mom's friend just had a baby (will be 2 in sept.) and her other children were 16 years old and 14 years old.

There will be pro's and con's for whatever your choice is.

It's not too old if it isn't too old for you.

Wow, well that would make a difference to me....

I would only go ahead with another pregnancy if the doctor o.k.ed it.

That doesn't sound like the kind of thing that would be expected to happen again. Double check with your OB doc, but I don't think that will be a factor.

I have a 23 y/o daughter, 17 y/o son, 10 y/o daughter, and 6 y/o son. I was divorced from the father of the first two, then remarried and had 2 more. I had planned to have the last two closer together, but it just didn't work out.

Do you want another child? Do you want to start over with diapers, etc? Why does your dh want another? Are you sure you want to be tied down with kids still in school for the next 20 years?

So long as you both really want another child, I would say go for it.

Well mine are 12 and 8.5 and were not having anymore.
I'd hate to start over again but that's just me...
I think that it's a personal choice
