What is wrong with Ripley????

He has been laying around for 2 days now and just not himself. His litter box habits are normal; he is eating and drinking; he has not vomited or acted like he needs to. He is not running a temp and his gums are normal color.

The only symptoms he has is lethargy and one of his eyes seemed a bit swollen earlier but it has cleared up now. He has been tested and is negative for the main diseases.

He is perking up a bit this evening but still not up to his normal energy levels. It HAS been very warm here. Could that be it??? Thanks for any help.

If you are concerned with changes in your cat's behavior, your best bet would be to call your vet

He is much perkier tonight and cleaned up his dish of food and demanded more. That's my Rip, food is his life.

He is back to his normal nosey, noisey self! I don't know what the problem was, but it seems to have resolved itself.

Depending where you live... if he is more lethargic during the day and fine at night.. it could be the heat... it is hella hot here and during the day my cats NAP... even the 12 week old kitten, but once the sun goes down, all kitty hell breakes loose
