my female cat is a tabby and my male is a orange tabby and we have 4 orange tabby and 2 tabby i dont really know much about it i just thought maybe that would give you an idea
Solid color is a recessive gene so if two solid color cats mate, then all the kittens will be solid color.
As for the actual color, that depends. Gray is a "dilute" color which is recessive, so two gray cats will have all gray kittens. But black is a "full" color, which is dominant. So two black cats could have all black kittens, or they could have 75% black kittens and 25% gray kittens, depending on the genes each parent has.
what if both cats were the steele grey colour my Isis is? her picture is in my siggy. im just asking because i was reading about calico's and their unique choromsones and wondered what would happen if two steele greays had bambinos lol would there be a chance for any other color but greay?
I have a brother and sister kitten (only two from the litter) they're like chalk and cheese..
He is brown and lil and fat and stocky ..and shes ginger lean skinny and fast and agile (she tries to beat him up allllll the time and is constantly worried about where he is when she wakes up etc...)
What is her obsession with him!!?? Do they grow out of this phase? theyre just over 3 months old .. id let them spar more often but he's at a disadvantage being the runt and all
