I posted way back when about my excitement on adopting a Russian Blue from the Prairie Home Cattery in Kansas. Then I posted again about his sneezing and coughing. As many of you suggested I took him to the vet. He had a full physical and was put on antibiotics. That cleared him right up! He was an absolute LOVE giving him the pills - it was like they were candy to him!
So here's my next dilemma - I have been using the litter (woody pet) and food (iams wet and dry kitten) that he was brought up on and ever since his castration surgery (monday) he hasn't been able to keep wet food down. I took him to the emergency vet on July 4 and he was diagnosed as 'stressed'. We fed him baby food chicken (no additives or onions) for a couple days and slowly added in his dry food. Then yesterday - we gave him a bit of his dry food and a half hour later he threw it up again.
Is it possible that I just need to switch wet foods? Is my kitten intolerant of wet food? He keeps the dry food down no problem. Suggestions?
