Sounds like it is incredibly complicated...but rest assured that if you lost their friendship over something so small as what it appears to be (mind you of course we don't know the whole thing), they weren't worth being your friends in the first place.

Trust me also, most of the people you make friends with in High school you will almost never talk to again as an adult. If you feel like embelishing some more about the situation, we are all here to listen and offer you a shoulder....virtual counts!

Perhaps though, he needs time because he is feeling attracted to you, boys are funny things. And they say girls are hard to read, well I say boys need to come with an instruction manual. He's probably just being moody. Give him time...he'll come around.

No problem, boys, especially teenagers (though it doesn't get any easier as they get older believe me, my DH is 31), are quite the curious creature.

I think they should feature them on the one of those animal planet shows....now that would be interested.

The secret lives of boys....

My 3 best friends are from high school...If the friendship is strong enough, it will last way beyond high school. Don't worry, I'm sure you 2 will be alright

Like I said, just give him some space, he may or may not come around, if he does, that'll be awesome, but if he doesn't I'm really sorry.

It's either a couple of things.

1. He really is starting to have feelings for you and is confused and needs time to sort them out.
2. He has a new girlfriend and she's jealous of his incredibly beautiful friend and told him that it's either her or you.

I honestly don't know. But you can count some of us here on TCS as your friends. I know what it's like not to have any IRL friends. So you won't be totally alone.

I'm so glad.....I know how worried it can make you to think you may be in the throes of losing a friendship. I'm glad all is well.
