Eating the litter in normal. They all seem to do it. That is why you should be using something safe for their digestive tracts. No clumping litter. Yesterday's News is good. I am just using plain non clumping cat litter.

Like the other poster mentioned, you need to use something like Yesterdays News, Feline Pine or simply scraps of newspaper. If they are eating the litter you need to use something else. If the litter is a scoopable one (I have no idea what Special Kitty is) stop using it now because it can cause harm if they keep eating it. All kittens taste things, so it is up to you to provide them with safe things in case they do. Don't use clay litter until they are older.

When littertraining very young kittens, I use shredded newspaper and gradually add clay litter underneath as they get older (decreasing the amount of newspaper slightly with each changing)
