I came home from Target with some stuffed animals to give as a gift to my DH's best friend. The boys decided that they would claim both animals and now they have hid them from me!!! I should have just bought a gift certificate.

Actually, anything that is not labelled "cat toy" is a cat toy. Especially when Lucy is testing gravity. She checks to make sure it works every day by shoving things off of high places.

In my house, socks are the ultimate cat toy (I also think that my kitties are in cohoots with both the aformented in another thread, Pizza gnomes and the sock monster). Because I've caught Pandora stealing baby socks. And I was wondering where all my son's socks were going, until I discovered her little game.

Okay so I found both toys, one of them can't be given away. It's been licked and bunny kicked so it lost an eye! (In the interest of safety and my vet bills I have removed the other eye). The other appears to be fine. Should I give it as a gift to the baby, or should I run out tomorrow and get a gift certificate?

Yeah, I've always been a big fan of giving people gift certificates, the main reason being that that way I'm not getting the wrong thing or a repeat gift, in the case of a gift certificate, everyone's happy. Both giver and receiver.

I've got it! I'll tape the gift card to the stuffed animal!

I think it's time for me to go to bed. It took me way to long to figure that out.
