I was browsing through the shelter listings here in Los Angeles as I so often do and saw this poor little kitten. How unique is her coloring?! I don't think I've ever seen a cat with a half and half face like this. Is she a technically a calico or a tortie?

I've only seen a few cats colored like her. She's so cute! I hope someone adopts her.. she looks sad.

That's so cool. Does anyone know why some tortie cats seem to have a "color line" right down the middle of their face? Even my Suzie (torbie) seems to have a wee bit of line.. Her lips go from being black to being pink right between her front teeth.

How cute! They have an adult cat in the shelter at Pittsburgh that looks just like that. They're advertising her as having a "Steelers Mask". I figure that by now, she's already been homed with a tagline like that!

What a sad little face! She needs love.

Torties and calicos can have some odd markings...my dad has a calico who has a black and orange checkerboard on the top of her head, and Miss Kitty has a Superman-style "S" on her back. I think their odd markings make them so cute!!

Such a lovely, sad face, I hope she gets the best furever home.

My Spaz has one of the most unusual facial markings I've seen on a tortie.
It's hard to see without a front on pic. but her face is covered with a four pointed, red star.
A point on her forehead, chin and each cheek.

My torbi cat has an orange "lightingbolt" of color through her brown face. That and her stripes what part of what i liked about her when she chose me
