For those of us in OK, MO, AR and KS

I don't know how many of you keep up with the news, but two prisoners escaped from a prison in Oklahoma a few days ago. Well, Wednesday evening they showed up in my small town (Bella Vista), broke into a young couples home, waited for them to get home, robbed them and stole their car. They had abandoned the original escape vehicle in a church parking lot. Last I heard, they were spotted in Wichita, KS on Thursday morning in the stolen car (2000 white Celica).

It is so creepy b/c the house was only a mile or so away from mine and I am home all day with my two young girls.

Since they have moved on, I haven't really heard any updates. Have any of you further north heard any?

I haven't heard anything about it here in MO., but thank you very much for the heads up I'm usually home alone all day with my son whose only 7 months old.

If its the ones that escaped from the corrections place, they have signs up all over around here! YIKES! Now I am freaked.......they say they are armed and dangerous. I wonder why they would think they are around here? Where were they last seen?? I am one that always leaves my house unlocked as well. No more of that I guess!!

Someone actually spotted them in Wichita yesterday! Apparently they expected them to hit NWA because they had ties here, and also expected them to head to Kansas.

They are definitely armed as they tied up the couple here and held them at gunpoint. Apparently they had been in the house for hours, eating food and waiting for the owners to come home so they could steal cash and cars!

Whoa-thats freaky!! I wonder what they were in jail for anyways?! Do you happen to know? Hopefully they will get caught ASAP then......but its still scary!!

They were in for burglary and drugs. Luckily, it seems, they are not murderers! When its so close to home it is super-scary!
