One good thing has happened lately! I had to go for blood work this morning and she got blood on the first stick!!!! YEA!!!

No, I'm sure they'll be no bruising this time......I mean, I sat down, she strapped on the band, had me make a fist, said, "little pinch", took 3 viles of blood, and I was out the door all in 5 minutes.........it was great, as far as blood drawing goes..............I don't really mind it if they can just get it on the first try!

Isn't it wonderful when it works out like that?


I saw the medical advice thread, and had none. Hubby is so terrified of having blood drawn that he gets so tense his veins collapse. They NEVER get it on the first try - in fact, it usually takes three or four visits before they're able to get blood from him!

Maybe this is a sign that your luck has changed!

Sure hope so Laurie......this week will be stressful. I go in on Tuesday to hear abuot my blood, and then on Thursday I go back for the recheck on my pap......Oh how I pray that it all works out...........
