Hello,
I have a 9 1/2 week old kitten who was currently diagnosed with coccidiosis. I read up on all the symptoms of this parasite and they include : Diarrhoea, Vomiting, Weight Loss, Dehydration, and Loss of Appetite. I have had my kitten for going on 1 month and he has never experienced any of those symptoms. I just find it odd that he hasn't even had any Diarrhoea which is the most classic symptom of Coccidiosis. Is there a possibility that my vet could be wrong? Or is it possible that some kittens just dont exibit any symptoms even though they are infected?

Was your kitten sick and that's why the vet was looking at him? Or did he just do a routine stool sample?

He just went in for a routine stool sample.

I don't know much about the tests, but maybe the vet caught it early. Where did the kitty come from? What water does he drink? I would go ahead and give him the antibiotics, but also feed him a tbsp of plain (with fat, NOT fat-free) yogurt 2-3 times a day.

If it was determined through a stool sample, then your kitty has it. Animals don't read the books, so where one animal can have only one symptom another could have all the symptoms, and some never show any symptoms at all.
