Taking pics of my cats is one of my favorite hobbies.
My only problem is that I've never been able to take a pic of them sleeping.
They always wake up as soon as I get close with my camera... almost as if they knew its "picture time" and they want to start posing for the camera

I'ld love to take good photographs of my cats sleeping.. anyone got any tips?

Also, share your pics of your kitties sleeping.

Don't put your camera away... leave it ready in the room that they usually sleep in so that you don't make a lot of noise getting the camera and setting it up. That's about all I can think of!
This is the only one I have that I have put online...

These are the looks I usually get for waking them up.

Found some more! I think your best shot would be to have a kitten... they are very easy to take sleeping pictures of.

Make sure the camera is ready to go before you get near them - the sound of the camera turning on, or the camera being taken out of the bag generally wakes them.

You just gotta be quick. Having no flash helps. Also if the cat is really pooped it helps. In this pic cookie must have been tired because he doesn't normally sleep here. (bottom of the old cat tree)

Zakk was dropping off here.

My all time fav. Hubby got really lucky!!
