Kandie as many of you know is my 18 yr old"fur sister"... For the last six months she has had worsening arthitis... She has had fish oil , jt supplement, glucosime and msm and they help but not enough for me ... So I talked with the vet and the accupucturist and were going to try accupucture... I will be finding the reduced fee somewhere in the budget ( I am starting new jobs and $$ will come but not for a while) ....

Kandie starts treatment on july 15 th ...

Any comment s and experiences would be appreciated

I cannot comment on acupuncture for animals, but I had a severe case of Bell's Palsy that was cured by going to an acupuncturist for a period of 10 visits over three weeks after the palsy occured.

When the palsy happened, I completely lost all motor ability on the right side of my face - couldn't smile, couldn't close my right eye, had to sleep with an eye patch (that was a horrible experience, being forced to sleep with an open eye!) - and within three weeks all functions were returning, and within 2 months, my face was totally back to normal.

I highly recommend acupuncture in general. I'd be really interested to see how your kitty responds to the treatment - please keep us updated!
