Brads grandpa is on intensive care in IA city and things aren't lookin so good for him. He was supposed to have surgery to fix a valve in his heart (with a pigs valve) and to unblock the completely blocked valve on the other side today but things went downhill and now he's in intensive care to get his strength up so they can actually operate on him.
He's told DH's mom that he just wants to die. I'm worried sick. I don't know whether to go out there or not. DH's mom is there with her brother and mom, but I feel in my heart that we should be there too. She told her hubby to stay home and that there's nothing he can do there. I don't know, I guess if it were me, I'd WANT my family to be there, even if I said the contrary.. ya know?
So can you please send some stong TCS vibes for him so that he pulls through this? I'd be forever greatful.

Tons of vibes to him. And you the whole family! Be strong for him. I would go and see him if I were you. What if he doesn't make it. I would want the chance to say good bye.

I agree, That's why my heart is telling me to go. Unfortunately Brad would have to take me because I don't know where I'm going to get there and he's being a stubborn mule. I want to cry, and have been for the past few days but only when Brad is either asleep, or not around. I want to be strong for him. It's hard though.

He doesn't want to go. I am so upset. I don't understand how his dad, brother and he can be so dumb sometimes. Usually he picks up on this stuff right away but this one he is dropping the ball. I don't understand.
I am stunned. I want to shake him and tell him "what if he dies, then how are you going to feel stupid?" But I hold my breath and hope that he will go, "oh duh mom and grandpa need me." But until then, I just scream inside.
