Okay, he's adorable, but he really has a funky smell about him. When I brought him home from the Vet for the first time, he smelled as if they had deloused him. But now, three days later, that smell has worn off and left a more natural but equally funky smell. Anyone have any thoughts?

What was he at the vet for? Did they do a dip of some kind? Usually smells can come from the anal glads, ears or mouth.

My stray - when I adopted him had a very bad ear infection. There was nothing visible - no secretions or anything - but he really did pong.

The first vet said it was just a 'male cat' smell (this was prior to having him neutered). But the second vet quickly identified it as an infection.

I'd get your kitty checked out.
