Good moring everyone

It is sooooooooooooooooo hot in my house. It is only 5 30am and I don't even have to get up but I can't sleep from the heat and I just drank about a gallon of water (now my tummy feels funny blub blub)

Anyways today I must do laundry (never ending) and dishes (never ending) and then I'm going to relax on tcs and read some cool posts and maybe reply to some.

Tomorrow when Dh doesn't work, we are finishing the painting then I will take pics, but I don't have a digital cam, so I'll have to develope my pics and scan them. I'll also have pics from New Mexico, and of Mittens to share as well!

Gosh it's so warm here as well today and we really need a good downpour

Tonight of all nights with this heat i have an appointment with a personal dresser, yes you read right

It's a service one of the large high street stores give free of charge so i might as well try it. I have my Directors daughters wedding in september so i need an outfit for that, so Chris is the man to help me

I am really sleepy today. My desk is covered in paperwork once again. Its just leftover stuff from yesterday this time. And this really can't be put away until my accounts balance and close. So it looks like I will be busy again today. Its almost Friday so that is a plus!!

Yet another glorious day today here in the Land of Manc!! 26˚C to be precise!

I've just come back from the pet shop and my am I warm!

Just sorting rooms today and then this evening will be fighting the motorway roadworks in rush hour!

Good morning!

Yesterday I spent most of the day doing homework and working. I got a lot done so I'm pretty proud of myself. Hopefully, I can get a lot done today too and take some time off tomorow for a bike ride or something.

Work is going great, school is good too. The weather is really nice. Plus I'm looking forward to going back to the Jazz festival this weekend.

So everything is going great, right?

For some reason, I can't help but feeling sad. On the surface I'm smilling and enjoying my life but deep down inside, I feel like crying.

Yet another sunny day but I awoke to the smell of cow manure-just great!!
I ran around and shut all the windows as the humidity level is supposed to creep up a bit today. Planted a bunch of perennials and annuals on the left side of the new paver driverway, watered and partially mulched it. Weeded too.
Today I MUST weed the veg garden as some of the weeds are taller than the vegetables!! Pick basil to deliver to client and stop in and order the pavers for our brick patio that hopefully can be delivered this week yet!!
Have an appointment for a job tonite -she is a friend of the job I picked up yesterday.
Gave my hands a hot wax treatment last night the skin feels good but fingers are still a bit stiff-I'll try to continue to do this daily!!

Afternoon all! I am just running round mad this week, I have to think about what day it is.
Marks friends are getting married and it's a traditional Asian wedding with five parts to it. I'm just starting to get my head around it all, we have had 2 parts so far but have been busy setting up halls etc and its just so time consuming, but really really colourful and beautiful, and the food is to die for

Tomorrow its the registry office, where they officially marry but the wedding is on Sunday. So it's all go!
Anyway, in work today to get some work done since I'm having so much time off so better actually get some done!!

I am staying late at work tonight to do some cold calling for insurance prospects

It will be the WORST. Cold calling is so rude I think, I would hate it if people called me at home to ask a random question...but oh well, its my job

Hmmm, We got our phone and cable hooked up yesterday so now there is something to do instead of stare at the walls all day

Good Morning Gang!

It's gloomy & rainy in the city today. Sunshine...come out come out where ever you are???

We had thunder again last night, and the only good thing about it, is that the Queen Highness LuckyGirl wants to sleep with Mommy.

That does make me feel so good. Although she did pounce on my head around 5am just to let me know she was still there in case I fell asleep for the 1st time last night!

Tonight I am making a chicken for dinner. And I am having 1 of hubby's friends over. His mom passed away last year, and he never gets a home cooked meal anymore...

He's also really appreciative, and complimentary... you know, all those things that start to fade after 7 years

. So I enjoy having him over. And that's it!

It is so bloody hot!

I went out for lunch with my australian friends, bought a top for my mother, went to the bank and now im home!

Tomorrow my mums aussie friends are arriving.
Unfortunately my mum is drunk so she is in a crazy mood

I have so many bills to pay off and i need to fill out so many forms today i think i need a ventilator!

I washed my hair this morning and its so yukky already

I agree. That is one of the reasons I got out of the finance industry. They lured me in with "warm leads" and then gave me cold calling. It sucked. You can only be hung up on so many times a day before you start feeling like crap! And I HATE it when people call my house, I don't even answer unless I know who it is. Thank God for caller ID!

It is gloomy, though I am seeing the sun peeking out. It's cool outside, maybe 67 at most.

I'm exhausted, we went to bed late as it was, and then there was an evil fly from hades in our room last night that was just flying in circles lightning fast over and over again and the only place he landed was on my thighs....so we spent an hour trying to kill the evil fly creature.

But alas it was unsuccessful. He finally flew out of the room since we had left the door open so he could get out cause it became obvious that killing him was impossible.

By the time that fiasco was over, it was 4am. Finally we got to sleep. But my monkey butt children woke up at 9:30 this morning so I've been up since then.

The 2.5 year old is fussy, the 6.5 year old has an attitude problem.

My DH has an appointment next friday for a job interview with Interbake.

Otherwise.....we're just going with the flow on this wonderful thursday morning/afternoon. (depending on your perspective and time zone)

Luckily, my job is primarily customer service, and we are only doing the cold calling tonight for the first time since I've been here, and it won't be a regular thing. We are just trying it out. I think we will be hung up and screamed at, but thats just my opinion

Afternoon everyone!
I took the "kids" (Twig and Rocket) to the vet today. What a fiasco that was! YIKES! First of all they were seen by a new vet which I absolutely hate, ( I guess they are training new vets now, and I am not happy. I just thought the new vet the first time was a one time thing.) and they know I don't like that, but for some odd reason, they put me in with this new lady who was really sweet, but when she didn't have either cats medical history in the room ( like the other doctors usually do) that bothered me, Then she was trying to clean Rockets ears which he hates, and ended up having someone else come in to hold him down, and he was just howling (something he NEVER does!) I was becoming irritated. Then when she gave Twig a Rabies shot (his booster) one shot on each side of his shoulders, and hit a nerve and Twig swung around to nail her, I bit my tongue because I wanted to snap!

So she ended up having the assistant hold him down too! I think I need to find another vet. I am livid.

Brad thinks I'm overreacting but he wasn't there this time! Twig came home growling and trying to fight with the other cats, something he's only done one other time after a vet visit. No. I'm just not happy with them anymore.

Time to find another vet that I can trust. I am exteremly picky so that's going to be a task.
Other then that, Brad's working and I am off. His grandpa is in intensive care in IA city. I just found out. God can this day get any worse??? I give up.
