Okla. judge found guilty of exposing himself in courtroom

The judge was found guilty of using a penis pump during trials. His defense attorney said the device was a prank present. Do any of you have any articles that offer more evidence? I guess the jury heard enough to convict, but I know how very fickle juries can be.
If it is true, do you feel the judge should be judged more harshly because he showed a greater disregard for the bench, since he knew more than most, how improper his behavior was?

I think the court of Public Opinion had already punished him.

It is no more improper than Clinton having sex with an intern.

I don't think he should be judged more harshly but should receive the same sentence as any sex offender that exposes himself in public.

The difference between Clinton and this judge is that Clinton didn't commit an illegal act. Perhaps an unethical one but not an illegal one.

Yea, cheating on your wife and doing something obscene in a courtroom when you're supposed to be the judge are different. The court reporter could see him doing it. I hope he's charged with contempt of court and stripped of his title, and public indecency.

Adultery might be illegal but nobody's been charged with it for years and years.

According to the story he was exposed 15 times at least, and also was using the device during testimony by a murdered toddler's family. Can you imagine if you were in the courtroom! I can't even fathom how he possibly thought it was okay.

The judge should be held to a higher standard because he KNOWS the law!! He knew what he did was wrong. If he wanted to do this in the privacy of his chambers, he can do so, but in the courtroom during a trial is outrageous!!
