Last Friday I lost two 6 week old kittens. I went to take them some food and I found them dead. At first I thought they were sleeping, so I tried to wake them up. I started crying because it was the two that liked me, they weren't afraid of me like the other 3. I checked them to see if they were hurt, but they didn't have any injuries. They were happy the day before, playing and eating and the next day they were dead. I was heartbroken because I was planning on keeping one of them. Today was the first day that I didn't cry, I miss them both. Please light a candle for them.

BTW their names were Garfield and baby doll.

RIP

Condolences on your loss of Garfield & BabyDoll. How odd that they just died on the same day as that - what a shock for you

No, when I found them it looked like they have been dead for hours. They died during the night, so I just buried them. I did make an appointment with the vet to get the other 3 checked out. He told me they were all fine. As soon as the mama lets me touch her, I'm going to take her to get spay.

Thanks everyone

Condolences on your losses. I lost two apparently healthy kittens last year, so I know how heartbreaking it can be. I'm sorry for you loss!

No, I never thought they were sick. The day before they were both playing and eating. The little girl was the healthiest one of all the kittens, so I was surprised that she had died. The boy was skinny but you couldn't tell because he was fluffy, he was the playful one. I was planning on keeping him, in fact Gordo fell in love with him. (Gordo loves kittens

What an awful shock to have on top of the sorrow - again, I am so sorry.

*HUGS* Tina . You have had better weeks, huh?
I would be so upset, too . I guess that they were needed at the Bridge for something bigger
