That is like junk food basically. She loves it like a kid would love to eat McDonalds everyday
You want kitten food first off from immediately until the kittens are weaned.

Look for foods with meat as the first few ingredients and no by-products. Mostly meat is what you want. Avoid food from grocery stores and go to Pet Stores like PetCo, Pet Supplies Plus or PetSmart and ask about high quality food.

You will have to do a gradual switch because going from a food like Friskies to a good quality food could make her throw up. But at least get her on kitten food.

how far along is she? the best bet is to feed a good Kitten food, like Nutro Complete Kitten, as i feed that to my preggo cat, and she loves it. also, wet food is good too!

i have her in my arms right now im not surehow far along she i started to realize she was pregnant when she would put her butt in the air and cry, i think that was like atleast a month and a half ago, but im going to a vet this week to find out about everything.. hopefully it goes a long well.. wait i think i marked down when she started doing that. May 12th would probably be my best bet. but thats like... holy cow 53 days in. that leaves me with... 12 days to prepare..oh poop. this is going to be mine and hers first litter, so i guess we're both pretty nervous, i still have kitty food that i feed to the strays outside. (don't ask, i feel bad when i see them without food)

That should be fine. My breeding females were fed Iams Kitten from about 2 weeks before due date thru the weaning time.

Weaning is when the kittens start to drink less of momma's milk and eat more regular food, just like when you wean a human baby from nursing or formula onto baby food.

Hahah, ohhh Wow am i so gone.. I never had kids, so i wouldnt know, but it is common knowledge i guess.. wow im way behind, thanks for the definition, i really appreciate it.. how long do they usually wean for? should i have kitten food aside for them anyway? becuz i got my Mandy when he was i think 5 weeks old and he only wanted dry cat food, and my milk (cow milk not my MILK, lol).. urgh, but i didnt give him human milk only that cat milk stuff, which btw he wouldnt drink.. no idea why.. but any how. yah......
