Thanks.. I had looked at a more expensive one in a shop.. This was just a David's Bridal dress.

David's Bridal rocks. I bought my dress there a their $99 sale, and all my bridesmaid dresses were less than $100 each too. You don't have to spend a ton to have a pretty wedding.

My dress was given to me by my MIL, she gave me the dress to wear as well as shoes and hose....cause she knew I wanted to do something special and she made it as special for us as she could. We were married on a I want to say it was a Thursday but prolly a Friday....my MIL watched my daugther on the Saturday through Sunday and had made us reservations to stay at the Marriott over the Potomac in DC, a room with a view and breakfast in bed.

It was like a 'real' honeymoon so to speak.


Have I mentioned how much I adore my ILs (just the living together has brought some personality conflicts but I still adore them, they treat me like family...not like my so called familiy....)

Here is our cake.....Jason's dad made it and decorated the cake...he also made sheet cakes in the back for people to eat...since 1000 people were invited



Here is our "first dance".....the lebanese/arabic tradition is to go right into an arabic dance after our leadout......and don't forget this was 35 pounds ago...I am a lot smaller now....

Great guys, now I am going to spend another evening on the internet ! I am dying to see these pictures. (can't see most of them at work cause of the firewalls) I never used to cry at weddings until I got married, now even the slightest hint of here comes the bride and my eyes well up.

Sarahp: You are gorgeous! I think I tried on that dress when looking for my own! And I swear to you, my bridesmaids had on the same dress in black. Great minds!? I love the pic where you 2 are the only ones in focus... I could just stare at it, it's like a mind bender... and the black & white one is precious, so real and natural. I'll have to search for the cd with some of my pics are on so you can see how close all of the dresses are...

I was married on October 16th 2004....we have very close wedding anniversaries!! October was such a pretty month to get married in!

That's great to hear - we're getting married October 28 this year. It's one of my favorite months of the year, so I'm really excited.

Yep, and we got married here in the south....the weather was perfect and the honeymoon was even better...since it was an off season the cruise had very few children and it wasn't crowded

Wow, that is close. We were married in my hometown in NW Georgia. We were right next to the Alabama line. October is such a beautiful time of the year to get married in that neck of the woods. With the leaves changing, its not too hot...

I'm getting married October 14, this year...two weeks exactly before yours, Crystal! Btw, the 28th of October is my dad's birthday...he'll be 50 this year!!
