What a neat thread!
We had a themed wedding. My inlaws thought we were pagan devil worshippers, but I assure you that we weren't.
It was a lot of fun and we created some very unique memories that we still get comments about nearly three years later.

My fave pic:

Family members and friends dressed up too:

Everyone has such beautiful wedding pictures, mine is a simple picture taken outside by my MIL. We had a JOP wedding. Simple, inexpensive, and quick, the best we could do. We have been discussing renewing our vows though on our 5th wedding anniversary next year with a real ceremony.

My marriage to my second husband was actually more special to me. The first one felt like a 'must do' cause I was preggo.

With my current DH I had on a nice white dress and he had on a tux...and it actually felt real.

The best I could do is take pictures of my wedding album, so the quality isn't very good.

Keep in mind this was 1992, hence the puffy sleeves

This was very high-tech back then
I am in my bathrobe, but in the mirror, I have my gown on

Check out those bridesmaids dresses

This one is my favorite

We had Snoopy and Belle on the top of our wedding cake

That looks almost identical to the dress I wore in my sister's wedding, who was married at around the same time as you. The only differences are hers were darker green and there were HUGE fabric roses in the centers of the collars. They were hip at the time though.

I'll have to pull out my photo album and scan some pics from my wedding.

Hey Susie!, Jeff and I aren't married yet...but I did dig up some old wedding pictures for you!

This first one is my Great grandma and grandfather on their wedding day (the picture was taken in the late 1800's)

and this is my mom and dad on their wedding day in 1968

I hope you enjoyed!

Here is mine, taken 10/10/04. My cousin also wore my dress for her Renaissance themed wedding in December.

Rigel, I love your frame. Karen, I would have taken your cake topper in about two seconds if I had seen it for my own wedding.

Your dress is just the type of dress I would have wanted if I had gotten married in a traditional ceremony....it's gorgeous!!
