G~ Getting there is half the fun! My suggestion: get to know people for awhile. Then go back and read some older threads. You'll enjoy seeing them as they were, so to speak.

Deb, I did it.
Found the very first thread where Anne introduces herself invites members. Only a few hundred pages to read (on that thread) and I should be all caught up! (I have kind of figured out who the 'regulars' are).
It's great too, my computer is in the basement (which has desperately needed to be organised and cleaned anyways). This way I am close enough to log on quickly and am still able to look VERY busy at the same time should I hear footsteps. Hubby thinks I have been suddenly bit by the "cleaning bug". I'll leave it at that.

That was a close one.
Husband sneaked down the stairs yesterday and startled me while I was typing away. Apparently I had that "deer caught in the headlights" look. Or that "I've done something really bad look". He: Why are you looking at me that way? Me: What way? He: You just look funny. What are you doing? Me: Oh nothing....this dumb computer is giving me problems. Somethings wrong with the internet and I think it's starting to give me a headache. He: Oh.
Whew! That was a really close one! Not that he would say anything. I just love thinking that he's upstairs thinking: My wife if such a hard worker.....She's been cleaning endlessly for days. And... my basement has never looked better!
