Do I Subconsciously Consider My Grandson A Cat?

When I picked up my daughter & 9mo grandson last week (I hadn't seen them since March), I asked her, "What kind of canned food does he like?" when in the baby food aisle. A couple of days later, he bumped his head on the coffee table and I asked her, "Do you want to take him to the vet?" She laughingly replied, "Only to show him off - not for treatment!". Maybe I AM turning into a crazy cat-lady

If it makes you feel better my husband has clicked at me to get my attention, the same way he does to call the cats.

Don't worry - I'm always referring to my gp as the vet - friends think it's hilarious.

That's surely the sign of cat lady craziness! Just don't give him any catnip yet - wait till he's at least a year old for that!

I was outside gardening once and I started pulling the wrong thing and my sister clapped at me like she does to make the cats stop doing naughty things.

We all laughed ourselves silly.

I kinda go the other way... I treat my kitty like she's a child. I swear if I could afford Kitty Daycare she'd be in it. I call the answering machine so she doesn't get lonely, then delete them when I get home. One time hubby heard the message and he says "babe, she's a cat." I said "don't talk about her like that, I don't want her to feel lonely..." I know, I know, I need a padded room!
