Sometimes I can't stand the people I work with. I always put my rent check at our front desk to go out with the mail. It always gets to my land lord super fast that way. Well I forgot to mail it this past Saturday so this morning I put it up front like I do all the time. This woman was downstairs on a break (which she should even get but thats another story) She took the mail from the mail man & told him there was nothing upstairs to go out. I believe she probably did it on accident, but the part that ticked me off was that when she told me she made some comment under her breath about how she doesn't put her mail there & laughed when I said it was my rent check. Well lady, you live in a house, I live in an appartment that does not have secure mail boxes. It's just good I'm only working 1/2 a day today, that way I can stop at the post office & drop it in the mail otherwise it wouldn't go out until Wednesday. She makes me nuts to begin with, but why is it funny that you almost made my rent check late.
